An overview of our setup process and what you can expect in your first few hours with Automenu.

You can be fully set up and ready to take online orders with Automenu in just a few hours.

Our goal is to get you live as quickly as possible. We've designed our onboarding process to be fast and easy, with our team handling most of the technical work for you.

What We Need From You

To make the setup process as fast as possible, we'll need a few things from you. Our guided onboarding will walk you through each step.

  • Your Menu: A digital copy (like a PDF, Word document, or link to your current website or third-party ordering).

  • Domain Access: To connect your new website, you'll have two simple options in the dashboard:

    • Manually add the DNS records we provide.

    • Use our automated setup by connecting directly to your domain registrar (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.). We strongly recommend this option as it's faster and avoids errors.

  • Stripe Account Setup: You'll be prompted to create a new Stripe account through our secure, embedded onboarding in your dashboard. This allows you to accept payments for online orders.

  • Google Business Profile: Access to your Google Business Profile so we can optimize your local SEO.

  • POS Information: The name of your Point of Sale (POS) system so we can guide you through the connection process.

Our Commitment to a Fast Launch

While most setups are completed within a few hours, the process can sometimes take a little longer for restaurants with very large menus or complex integrations.

No matter what, our onboarding team is committed to working with you to resolve any issues and get your new system up and running as quickly as possible.
